Subject: Part 10 of Ivan Besse's late 1930's film of Britton,S.D.
In Part 10, we see more of the cute children standing in front of the Strand movie theatre.
The rest shows people walking on the main street and store owners. The town's eople seemed very nice. It must have been a good place for children to grow up in.

Subject: Which one is the child? Which is the animal skin?
We start off the final volume of the most excellent Besse films with some shots of children.. The 2nd child.. WHAT is that the person is holding to the left of the child? Looks like a racoon skin! Yikes!! I LOVE the depth of field with the two sisters!! Very odd. Again, the kids dont look amused at all about the camera. The kids look TOO cute though. We get more street scenes.. Like the merchant painting on the specials of the day on his window.. Throughout the series, I really like the low angles Besse uses for some of the people shots.. Uh oh, its the woman with the furry shoulders again!..Hmmm not much to report here Then we go to a horse corral! Whoops, back to street scenes. Whoops, thats it!

Subject: country town
This is part of a series of short films by ivan besse..Each was shown in the local cinema, the STRAND,the next week. This cimema in britton is still operating and ivan besse is 93 years and well.. They are remarkable and unique..These films place us in the main street of a country street of a country town in 1938.. These scenes are universal.. I have been told that they are totally similar to a australian town of that year
